The AATS Graham Foundation Excellence Award will be presented to the Best abstract/presentation at 24th ASCVTS Annual Meeting in Taiwan 2016.
The American Society for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) will start the AATS Graham Foundation Excellence Award at the 24h annual meeting of the Asian Society for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (ASCVTS) held in Taipei, at April 6-10, 2016. ASCVTS Furuse Award which has been delivered to the Best one in the whole field at the ASCVTS meeting will be delivered to the Best one in the Cardiovascular Surgical area in 2016. The AATS Graham Foundation Excellence Award will be for the best thoracic abstract/presentation.
The awards alternate each year, then in 2017 the AATS Graham Foundation Excellence Award will be given to the Cardiac one and ASCVTS Furuse Award will be to the general thoracic one. Each award will be US$2,500. Applicant for these awards should be the ASCVTS members, regardless of age. Several selected papers will be presented at the plenary session and the best presentation in each area will be chosen for the AATS Graham Foundation Excellence Award and ASCVTS Furuse Awards, respectively.
Aside from these awards, the best poster presentation award and young investigators’ travel award will be given in the 24th ASCVTS Annual Meeting. We hope that many ASCVTS members will submit excellent papers to coming ASCVTS meeting in Taipei.
